Ben DeBiase shot a 76 to tie for second place and lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team to a third-place finish at the SUNY Canton Invitational on Thursday afternoon at the Partridge Run Golf Course and Country Club.
DeBiase's 76 tied for second with Utica's Daniel Maloney, while
Chris Waldorf tied for seventh with a 78.
Kevin Dillon finished in a three-way tie for 14th with an 80, while
George Sherbrooke finished 17th with an 81 and
Connor Murphy tied for 21st with an 84.
JD Redding,
Alex Reith and Robert LeFavour all competed as individuals. Redding and Reith tied for 23rd with an 85, while LeFavour finished 31st with a 92.
St. Lawrence combined to shoot a 315, good for third place. Clarkson's 'A' team shot a 301 for the win, while Utica finished second with a 313. Clarkson's Eric Spoth shot five under with a 67 to claim the individual title.
