St. Lawrence University has announced the induction of 99 student-athletes into its chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma, a nonprofit organization recognizing the student-athletes who excel both on the field of play and in the classroom.

Student-athletes eligible to be nominated by their coaches for Chi Alpha Sigma membership must participate in a sport at the varsity intercollegiate level, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full time semester, earn a 3.4 or higher cumulative grade point average, contribute to their team athletically and act as good citizens.

The St. Lawrence chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma was established in 2014. These student-athletes join 513 members from previous induction classes.
