The best and brightest of the student-athletes in St. Lawrence University's Class of 2024 were on display at the Senior Athletics Banquet Tuesday evening at Eben Holden.

The event, hosted by Saints public address announcer Dr. Peter Cain, saw nine major awards handed out over the course of the evening.

The department's awards consist of the Bernie MacKinnon Coach of the Year Award, Doc Littlejohn-Ron Waske Athletic Service Award, SAAC Sportsmanship Awards, Daniel F. Sullivan Athletic Leadership and Community Service Award, Scott Woodburn Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Awards, and Marth Finch Senior Student-Athlete Awards.

This year's event was the first in which the Outstanding Scholar-Athlete Awards received a new namesake, in honor of former St. Lawrence swimming and diving head coach Scott Woodburn. Woodburn guided the Scarlet and Brown to a 1976 national championship.
