Sam Lyman shot two under par to lead the St. Lawrence University men's golf team on day one of the Liberty League Championships at the par-72 Shenendoah Golf Club at the Turning Stone in Verona, N.Y. on Friday.
Lyman leads the Scarlet and Brown with a 70, while
Jimmy King is tied for fifth, just one over par, with a 73.
Cooper Evans is tied for ninth with a 74, while both
Wes Bevins and
Ben Scholes are tied for 20th with a 77.
St. Lawrence shot a combined 294 and sit in second place after the first round, while Skidmore leads with a 288 and Rochester sits in third with a 296.
