The Saints would get a pair of wins in doubles play but could not pick up a win in singles as the St. Lawrence University men's tennis team fell 7-2 to Rochester on Saturday evening in Rochester, N.Y.
St. Lawrence fell to 7-9, while the Yellowjackets improved to 8-3.
In the number one doubles spot, the tandem of
Adam Heilbronner and
Broderick Pinto took on Kai Yuminaga and Rahul Ravi and claimed an 8-6 victory.
Then at number two,
Cole Hamilton and
Ben Moolman combined to defeat Krish Vennam and Ethan Samora 8-5.
The Saints will be back on the road next weekend for their final away matches of the season when they head to RPI and Bard on April 20-21.
