The St. Lawrence University men's cross country team delivered a competitive performance at the 2024 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships, placing seventh overall as a team in the event.
The Saints, led by junior
Nick Lyndaker's top-10 finish, showcased their depth and determination in a strong field.
Lyndaker secured an eighth-place finish with a time of 24:43.7, earning Mideast all-Region honors in the process.
Patrick Russell was the next finisher for St. Lawrence, placing 36th with a time of 25:39.3.
Matthew Taylor followed closely, finishing 40th in 25:51.4.
Matt Serrano added to the Saints' scoring depth, finishing 44th with a time of 26:01.6.
Griffin Roeder also contributed, crossing the line in 51st place with a time of 26:17.4.
Owen Patry and
Colin Young rounded out the Saints' lineup with finishes in 64th and 70th place, respectively. Patry recorded a time of 26:43.80, while Young completed the race in 26:50.2.
The Saints will now await results from the NCAA selection committee, which will determine at-large and individual berths to the NCAA Cross Country Championship, set for Saturday, November 23 in Terre Haute, Ind.
