The St. Lawrence University riding team finished as the High Point Team on Saturday and tied the University of Guelph for the honor on Sunday in back-to-back team competitions hosted by SUNY Geneseo.
On Saturday, the Scarlet and Brown finished six points ahead of the Reserve High Point team with 40 points. The Saints secured class wins from seven members of the team and garnered two second-place finishes to bolster the winning effort.
Harper Eskey was named the High Point Rider, while
Annie Kammer was awarded Reserve High Point Rider.
On Sunday, the Saints finished the day in a tie with the University of Guelph, both receiving 30 points.
Frances Thompson McKenzie was named the Reserve High Point Rider on Sunday, while the Saints saw four class wins and a second-place win from
Dalton Pace.
With this weekend's results, the Scarlet and Brown lead the region in the IHSA standings.
The Saints head back down to SUNY Geneseo this coming Saturday, November 2nd for their third, and final show in Geneseo, before heading back home to host their first show of the season on Sunday, November 3rd at 10 a.m.
