Skidmore Fall Invitational Results
Ben Scholes shot one under par and claimed the individual title, leading the St. Lawrence University men's golf team to a first-place finish at the Skidmore Fall Invitational at the Saratoga Spa State Park Golf Course this weekend.
The Saints and Scholes held the lead following Saturday's round and due to heavy rainfall in Saratoga, round two of the tournament was canceled. Â
Scholes shot a 71 at the par-72 course to come away with the individual title.
Ben DeBiase shot a 74 and tied for sixth, while
Gabe Ward shot a 76 and tied for 15th.
Jimmy King tied for 28th with a 77 and
Sam Lyman shot an 85 to tie for 85th.
Colin Kagan golfed as an individual and tied for 56th with an 80.
St. Lawrence shot 10-over par to claim the team win, out of a 21-team field, with a 298 following round one, besting Williams and Tufts by four strokes, who are both tied for second with a 302.Â
The Skidmore Fall Invitational wrapped up the 2024 fall season for the Saints, who will be back in action in the spring. Â
