Scott Howard joined the St. Lawrence University athletic training staff in August of 2023.
"We are extremely excited for Scott to join our staff and the department," said Assistant Athletic Director and Head Athletic Trainer Brian Atkins. "He brings a lot of experience and knowledge here to St. Lawrence and will continue to help our department grow."
Prior to joining the Saints, Howard worked as an athletic trainer at South Kent School, working primarily with ice hockey, basketball, and soccer.
He also did stints with Westminster College, JAG Physical Therapy and served as the graduate assistant during his time at East Stroudsburg University. In the past he has also worked with the USA Luge National Senior Team, Elite Athletic Training Services, Can/Am Hockey Camps in Lake Placid and Lynchburg College.
His certifications include – Emergency Medical Responder, Connecticut Athletic Training License, New Jersey State Athletic Training License and CPR/AED for professional rescuer, American Red Cross.
Howard will serve as the athletic trainer for field hockey, women's ice hockey, women's lacrosse and riding.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Lynchburg College and a Master's of Science in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University.
