After a scoreless 10 minutes to start the second quarter, the Saints broke through, as Mahoney found White on the doorstep to bring the game within two. Davis scored his third of the game with 1:25 remaining in the first half and the Dutchmen held onto a 5-3 lead at the break.

"Union certainly deserved to win that game," said head coach Mike Mahoney. "It starts with our preparation and execution, which falls squarely on me."

"It's a great opportunity for us to take a look at some things and hit the reset button heading into our next league game. This a proud and committed group and I expect them to respond accordingly."
