The Brewers won the other two doubles matches 8-5Â to take a 2-1 lead going into the singles round.
Turtledove and
Nico Haet each took the opening set of their singles matches at number one and three respectively as St. Lawrence looked to get back into the match. However, both Turtledove and Haet did not get to finish their matches as the Brewers clinched wins at number two, four, and five to secure the match and advance in the tournament.
