Meredith Macey swept her Singles match with a tiebreaker point victory, but the St. Lawrence University women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Bethel on Thursday morning at the UTSA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.

The Scarlet and Brown fell to 5-3, while Bethel improved to 6-6.

Macey, who took on Rylee Schurman in the number four Singles spot, won the opening pint 6-0. In the second set, Macey and Schurman battled to a tie breaker, which Macey came away with 7-6 (7-3).

With their Spring Break trip wrapped up, the Scarlet and Brown is not back in action until next weekend when they travel to Troy, N.Y. to take on Liberty League foe RPI at 12:00 p.m.
