Alli Sibold was impressive from start to finish to take the individual win," head coach
Kate Howard said. "She put herself in a great position early and ran with great confidence in the last 1000 meters."
Ithaca won the tight team title putting four in the top six to finish with a low 29 points, just ahead of the Saints' 36. Host Hamilton finished third with 72 points, Nazareth finished fourth, St. John Fisher fifth, and William Smith sixth.
"Today was a terrific opportunity to see great competition over a shorter distance race course," said Howard. "With each outing we're learning a little more about our strengths as a team and we're looking forward to continuing to sharpen our racing skills going forward."
