Macey Improves to 4-0, but Saints Fall to Yellowjackets

Lillian Sullivan and Meredith Macey won singles matches for St. Lawrence, but the University of Rochester won the first five completed matches to defeat the Saints 7-2 in a non-league women's tennis match in Rochester on Thursday afternoon.

Sullivan came back from a 6-1 loss in the first set to defeat Yaya Wang 6-3, 6-0, at No. 3 singles, and Macey improved to 4-0 in singles matches this season with a 7-5, 6-2 triumph over Olivia Waysack at No. 5 singles.

The Saints, now 2-2 on the season, will face RIT in a Liberty League home-and-home matchup this weekend, traveling back to Rochester on Saturday and hosting the Tigers for Senior Day on Sunday.
