"Princeton took control early and got one on us," said St. Lawrence head coach
Chris Wells '92. "I was real happy with our resolve and effort to try and get one back. We had a few 2-on-1 rushes and hit the post to make it a game, but Neatby was there on our good chances and Princeton cashed in when they had theirs. We will be back at it tomorrow."
Kuehl gave Princeton the lead just two minutes and 36 seconds into the game, redirecting Maggie Connor's feed from behind the net inside the left post. Frankel also assisted on the play.
Frankel increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the second period, sending a backhand from the bottom of the left circle past St. Lawrence goaltender
Lucy Morgan. Kuehl and Connors assisted on the play.

Kristen Guerriero rang a shot off the post just a few minutes later and a number of Saints contributed to a a flurry of chances halfway through the third period.
But Sarah Fillier extended Princeton's lead to 3-0 with less than six minutes to play. Morgan got most of the wrist shot from the slot, but the puck just trickled over the line. Bullock started the play with a pass from the right side.
Bullock put the game away with an empty-net goal two minutes later.
Morgan made 33 saves as the Saints were outshot 37-16, including a 27-8 margin in the first two periods. Both teams were 0-for-3 on the power play.
