"Our team did a nice job of staying focused throughout the match," said head coach
Shelly Roiger. "We were able to play our entire lineup and every single player once again made positive contributions. The depth of this team is outstanding, which is pretty important for us right now as we are a bit banged up from injuries and illness. We had very few unforced errors and we made Caz make plays."
Cazenovia was led by Mallory Clark with four kills, while Kaylin Van Auken recorded 13 assists and Grace Torino posted nine digs.
With the win, the Saints improved to 12-5 on the season. Piper and
Grace Kelly were named to the Canton Classic All-Tournament Team.Â
"We're looking forward to a great week of practice and making each other better as we prepare for three Liberty League matches this coming week," Roiger concluded.
The Scarlet and Brown will return to conference play at home, hosting Clarkson on Tuesday, October 2 at 7 p.m.
