Pierre Coffy recorded a career-high 31 points and added eight rebounds as the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team captured its second-consecutive win defeating Bard 94-85 in Liberty League action on Saturday afternoon in Burkman Gymnasium.

Ben Crawford posted his ninth double-double of the season with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Classmate
Dom DeRegis added another 21 points and three rebounds for the Saints.
Coffy and Crawford both shot 11-for-17 from the floor, while Coffy went 2-for-3 from the arc and DeRegis hit 3-for-5 from the arc.
After a series of ties, Coffy gave the Saints a five-point advantage shooting 3-for-3 from the line. An eight-point run, capped by a jumper from Coffy allowed the Saints to hold a 28-17 lead with 6:47 remaining in the first half. About a minute later, Crawford landed a jump shot to give the Scarlet and Brown a 12-point lead. A high scoring Bard offense cut the lead to seven just before halftime.
The Raptors rallied after the break to tie the game at 45 off a layup from Alijah Rue, while a 3-pointer from Emmanuel Oyakhilome gave Bard their first lead of the second with 15:36 to play.
The Saints worked to diminish Bard's slight edge over the course of the next few minutes. DeRegis tied the game 59-59 at the line, then hit back-to-back threes from the arc to give the Saints a nine-point advantage. Coffy extended that lead to 11 after a layup and 3-pointer with just under eight minutes to play.
Crawford added a 3-pointer of his own to give the Saints their largest lead of the contest, spanning the Raptors 78-64. David Runcie recorded two consecutive layups to bring Bard back within single digits, but the Saints held at least a seven point lead for the remainder of the game.
"It was another great win for the guys tonight," said head coach
Chris Downs. "They worked hard and completed the weekend sweep with two conference wins. We look forward to getting ready to hit the road next weekend."
Bard was led by Rue with 18 points, three rebounds and seven steals, while Oyakhilome added 13 points and nine rebounds. Runcie and Justyn Rogers rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Raptors adding 12 and 11 points, respectively.
With the win, the Saints moved to 5-13 overall and 3-8 in Liberty League play, while Bard fell to 6-12 and 4-7.
St. Lawrence will travel to Hobart and RIT on February 2-3.
