Four members of the Saints' roster scored in double digits to lead the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team to a 79-72 win over RIT in Liberty League play Saturday afternoon in Rochester, N.Y.

Cara Waterson led the Saints, scoring 18 points and snagging four rebounds. Junior

Annabella Pugliese tallied 13 points and sophomore
Meghan Hynes contributed 12 as the Saints shot 50 percent from the field.
St. Lawrence remained in control the entire game, including a back and forth battle to end the fourth quarter. The Saints capitalized on scoring opportunities at the end of the second quarter to hold the edge over the Tigers, 37-31, heading into the locker room. The Tigers came back to the court fighting hard, eventually drawing within one point with 1:22 to play, but the Saints closed the game with six straight foul shots to end the fourth quarter to secure the win. RIT was led by sophomore Cori Okada, who tallied 24 points and three rebounds. Sophomore Tara Lynch added 19 points and graduate student Ashlynn Palmitesso scored 11.
The Saints improved to 8-12 and 5-7 in Liberty League play, as RIT fell to 14-8 and 7-6.
The Saints will be back in action at home next weekend as they take on Vassar in Burkman Gymnasium at 6 p.m.
