The St. Lawrence University men's basketball team suffered a 92-78 loss to Hobart in Liberty League play Friday night in Geneva, N.Y.

The Saints trailed for the majority of the first half but fought back with a series of foul shots to edge the Statesman by one (33-32) heading into the locker room. The Statesmen began to pull away at the start of the second half. The Saints drew the game in close range off a steal from
Kyle Edwards and a 3-pointer by
Riley Naclerio at the 6:35 mark, closing the gap to four. Hobart capitalized on some good scoring opportunities down the stretch to draw the win.
Sophomore Colin Dougherty led the way Hobart with 20 points. While first years Tucker Lescoe contributed 16 points and Sam Allen added 13.
The Saints fell to 16-4 and 9-2 in Liberty League play, as Hobart improved to 12-8 and 7-4. St. Lawrence remains tied with Skidmore for first place in the conference standings, as the Thoroughbreds fell to Bard, 70-61.
The Saints will be looking to grind out a win tomorrow afternoon as they travel to Rochester, N.Y. to take on the RIT Tigers at 4 p.m.
