Brendan McNamee had two chances to tie the game early in the second half, but was stopped by RPI's Matt LaBranche. The Newton, N.J. native recorded three of the Saints seven shots on goal.
St. Lawrence held a slight shot advantage in the second half and the team's finished with seven shots apiece.
Mike Smith made six stops for the Saints, while LaBranche stopped all seven shots he faced for the Engineers.
The Saints will travel to RIT next weekend for their final regular season road game on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 3 p.m.
