Lauren McRoberts has been named the assistant coach of the St. Lawrence University women's basketball team for the 2017-18 season.
A former student-athlete at the University of South Carolina Upstate, McRoberts was a three-year captain for the Spartans. She was named the Atlantic Sun Conference's Player of the Week twice. The Carmel, Indiana native, graduated USC Upstate with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in psychology and criminal justice. She also holds a minor in education.
Prior to joining the Saints coaching staff McRoberts served as the assistant women's basketball coach at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. The Grizzlies recorded two third-place finishes in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, including a 14-4 mark during the 2015-16 season. Franklin made an appearance in the conference semifinals following a first-round victory against Defiance College.
