St. Lawrence University Athletics

Kathleen Merchant won all three throwing events contested to lead St. Lawrence to a win in its first meet of the season, the Ice Breaker Open at St. Lawrence. She won the shot put with a throw of 11.95 meters, the discus with a toss of 40.30 meters, and the javelin with a heave of 40.30 meters. Her performance in the javelin ranks fifth on the NCAA Division III performance list, and she ranks 33rd in the shot put.
