Elrayes went 4-0 in the Liberty League tournament, including a pivotal win against No. 8 Rochester, to help the No. 4 Saints win their fifth straight Liberty League title. Against Rochester’s Marcus Sim, he came back from an 0-2 deficit to tie the match at 2-2 and then came back again after falling behind 0-4 in the fifth game to win 15-13 and clinch a point for St. Lawrence. He also overcame four match points in the win. The Saints went on to win the match 6-3.
