Smith was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Liberty League Championships after helping the Saints to their second straight title with a 3-0 record on the weekend. She beat Bard's Justine Zaki at No. 6 (11-2, 11-3, 11-3), Vassar's Nicole Pihlstrom at No. 7 (11-1, 11-6, 11-1) and finished with an 11-8, 11-5, 11-5 win over William Smith's Maddie Saiontz at No. 8 in the title match.
