Lisa Grohn broke the course record by 15 seconds at Plattsburgh State's Cardinal Classic last weekend, completing the 5-kilometer course in 17:38, or at 5:41 mile pace. The previous course record, held by Plattsburgh's Jenny Schaffhouser, was set in 2010. It was the first individual win in Grohn's collegiate cross country career, and her time was a whopping 61 seconds faster than her performance in the same race last year.
