First-year diver Matthew Edkins took third in both the 1M and 3M diving events at the UNYSCSA Championship meet last week. In the 3M, he scored 496.00 – a near 16-point improvement from his season high of 480.30 set at the Liberty League Championship meet in December. The Hunlock Creek, Pa. native then earned  459.90 in the 1M  to edge teammate Alex Blake (4th) by 4.5 points.
