Kyle Hayton made 41 saves to beat the University of Vermont 4-1 Saturday night, snapping a seven-game Saint losing streak against the Cats. His save total was the highest in the country for a Division I game last weekend and matched his high for the year. He had 20 saves in the third period as the Saints improved to 10-5-2, their best mid-point record since 2005-06.
