Leondre Simmon almost singlehandedly turned the game around for the Saints on Saturday. With Union leading 10-7 late in the second quarter he capped a short drive with a three-yard TD catch to give SLU a 14-10 lead. On the very first play of the ensuing drive, Simmon stepped in front of a short out pass and intercepted it returning it 40-yards for the score and a 21-10 Saints lead. He finished with two receptions (both for TDs), five tackles, two interceptions (one for 40-yard TD the other returned 39 yards).
