Zayas helped the Saints to a runner-up finish in the Potter Cup, going 3-0 in the national team championship tournament. He was one of two Saint winners in the finals against Trinity, winning 3-2 in the match at two. He won 3-1 in his match against Harvard in the semifinals and 3-0 against Franklin and Marshall in the first round
