2014: Hovey earned Second-Team All-Liberty League honors at attack. He led the team with 33 goals and was second with 39 points as a junior starting each of the 14 games.  He scored a season- and career-high seven goals in the win over Vassar. Had goals in every game except the Ithaca game and scored four goals in each of the first two games of the season – Babson and Nazareth. Earned Liberty League Offensive Player of the Week twice (Mar. 10 and Apr. 7). He earned Saints Star of the Week honors for the week of April 7.

2013: Hovey came off the bench and played in six games at attack for St. Lawrence in his sophomore year.

2012: Hovey saw time in two games during his first season with the Saints.  The Simsbury, CT native scored a pair of goals and added an assist in a win over Cazenovia for his first collegiate points.

At Westminster School
Hovey was a tri-sport athlete, competing on the lacrosse, soccer and hockey teams. The Simsbury, CT native earned a spot on the Honor Roll.
