St. Lawrence University Athletics

Devin Shea, a former basketball standout and graduate of Ithaca College, joined the St. Lawrence University women's basketball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2013. 

A four-year member of Ithaca’s women’s basketball squad, Shea captained the Bombers to their second consecutive Empire 8 title as she was named the 2013 tournament’s Most Valuable Player.  She was the team’s second leading scorer, helping Ithaca to an NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen appearance and a 27-3 record in her senior season. 

Shea, a native of Huntington Valley, PA, served as an assistant coach with the Upstate Ladies youth basketball team last spring, and also worked at both Camp America in Chalfont, PA and Southwoods in Paradox, NY over the past several summers. 

Shea graduated from Ithaca in 2013 with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a concentration in Coaching.  She was inducted into New York’s Omicron Athlete Honor Society, as well as the Rho Phi Lambda Honors Fraternity.
