EISA Skiing Results

2020 Season

Hochschartner made her first postseason appearance for the Saints at the 2020 NCAA Skiing Championships in Bozeman, Montana, where she placed 31st in the 5-kilometer freestyle. Hochschartner competed in all six carnivals with the Saints, posting her season-best performance with an 11th place finish in the 5-kilometer free at the Bates Carnival, along with several other top-20 finishes…
16th – 5K skate – Harvard Carnival
15th – 5K freestyle – UVM Carnival
16th – 10K classic – Colby Carnival
13th – 15K classic – Bates Carnival
11th – 5K skate – Bates Carnival
13th – 10K classic – Williams Carnival
12th – 3x5K relay – Williams Carnival
13th – 5K freestyle – Middlebury Carnival/NCAA Regionals
14th – 15K classic – Middlebury Carnival/NCAA Regionals

2019 Season

During her junior season, Hochschartner competed in all six carnivals with the Saints, placing 14th in the 3x5 kilometer relay at the Dartmouth Carnival... She also earned USCSCA All-Academic honors.

2018 Season

Hochschartner closed her sophomore season with a ninth-place finish in the women's 20-kilometer freestyle at the Middlebury Carnival / NCAA Regionals… She earned USCSCA All-Academic honors also posted three other top-20 EISA finishes on the season including –
12th – 10K freestyle – Saint Michael's Carnival
17th – 5K freestyle – Colby College Carnival
18th – 15K freestyle – UVM Winter Carnival

2017 Season

Hochschartner finished in fourth place in the women's sprint to earn a career-best result… She finished the sprint course with a time of three minutes, 48.43 seconds to score 41 points for the Saints. Her finish at the UVM Winter Carnival ranks among some of St. Lawrence's best; the fourth-place result is the top result for the Saints' women's Nordic team since Leah Hart placed fourth in the 10K freestyle in 2011… Hochschartner also earned National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team honors, as announced by the USCSCA.

16th – classic sprints – St. Lawrence Carnival
17th – 5K classic – St. Lawrence Carnival
4th – skate sprints – UVM Carnival
20th – 15K skate – Middlebury Carnival
18th – sprint relays – Middlebury Carnival 
9th – 15K classic - Bates Carnival/NCAA Eastern Regionals

Prior to St. Lawrence

Hochschartner was a member of the cross country and track teams as well as the Nordic team at St. Paul’s School … Earned All-America honors at 2016 USSA Junior Nationals ... Was a team captain for both the Nordic and track teams as a senior and earned the Archer Award for best junior/senior female scholar athlete.
