Biography

2017-18: An assistant captain for the Saints as a senior, Lough scored a career-high six goals and matched his career-high 14 points...His biggest goal of the season, and lone game winner, help the Saints win the second game of a best-of-three playoff series at Dartmouth to keep the season alive...Lough was named to the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team and was also the Saints' candidate for the ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year Award.

2016-17: Lough finished his junior season with 12 points, including a career-high four goals and eight assists...He also added five points in ECAC Hockey games...He was one of only a handful of Saints to play in all 37 games.

2015-16: Scored the game winner against Niagara and assisted on the Saints’ fourth goal against RIT...Had an assist at UNH to run his scoring streak to three games...Earned his third assist of the year against Union...Scored his second of the season at Princeton and had an assist in each of the games at Cornell and Colgate...Assisted on the lone Saints goal at Clarkson...Returned to action against Colgate and Cornell after sustaining a injury in the Clarkson game...Had two assists against Princeton for his first multi-point game of the year...Scored the game winner in the win over Dartmouth...Earned his first career post-season point with an assist on Jacob Pritchard’s game-tying goal in game one of the Clarkson series.

2014-15: Lough played in 36 games for the Saints as a rookie and scored three goals with five assists...All but two of his points came in ECAC play...He scored his first collegiate goal in a 4-0 win at Clarkson and also had an assist for his first multi-point game...He assisted on the game winner at Brown.

Prior to St. Lawrence 
The Green Bay Gamblers team MVP in 2014, Lough scored 19 goals and had 23 assists in 60 games last season...He had 11 special teams points including five short handed goals and six game-winners...Prior to playing for Green Bay, he was a member of the BCHL Island Division Champion Alberni Valley Bulldogs and earned the Coastal Conference Bob Fenton Trophy for sportsmanship...He captained both Green Bay and Alberni Valley...He also played rugby and baseball and Athol Murray College of Notre Dame and earned the Chancellor Frederick W. Hill Scholarship and was a Dean's honor roll member for grades 9-12...He is the son of Steve and Gigi Lough.
