  • Title
Assistant Men's and Women's Tennis Coach
Taylor Diffley, a 2017 graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a degree in psychology, was added to the St. Lawrence tennis staff as an assistant for both the men's and women's programs in the summer of 2017.

"We are very excited to have Taylor joining our coaching staff as she brings a lot of experience having played for a highly-regarded program at the University of Mary Washington," Caniga said. "Her knowledge and years of experience will help continue to grow our program to a national level."

Diffley competed in the 2017 NCAA Division III women's tennis team championship with the Eagles and was also among 16 doubles teams invited to compete in the NCAA Division III women's tennis doubles championship.

She and partner Kait Brogan went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles for Mary Washington in the Eagles' first and second-round matches of the NCAA team championship. The duo fell in the opening round of the doubles championships to the top-seeded pairing from Wesleyan College, but finished tied as the 10th-ranked team in the nation to earn All-America honors.

Diffley was also a first team All-Capital Athletic Conference selection in 2013, 2014 and 2016 and was an Intercollegiate Tennis Association regional doubles finalist in both 2014 and 2016.

"Taylor knows and has illustrated what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of Division III tennis and will be a great resource for our teams," Kreitzer said. "I'm excited for her to share her love and understanding of the game with our students."

Diffley also brings experience as a tennis pro at Westhampton Tennis & Fitness and tennis director at the Sandy Hollow Camp.
