Biography

2015-16: The only player to score more than one goal for the Saints on opening weekend, he had one each night. He figured in both third period goals against Niagara with an assist on Tommy Thompson’s power play goal and then scoring his first of the year midway through the period. Scored the game-winner unassisted in  overtime at UNH for his second career game-winning goal. Had an assist each night at Penn State. Had an assist on the game winner at Colgate. Scored the game winner against Brown as part of a two point night. Assisted on the first two goals at RPI.

2014-15: Christian Horn scored seven goals and has six assists in 32 games for the Saints in his rookie season with two power play goals and the game winner at home against RPI. He also had an assist on the game winner at Yale. He scored his first colleigate post-season goal in a game two win over RPI. He scored his first collegiate goal on his first shot in a 5-4 win at Miami and had his first multi-point game with two assists in a 7-1 home win over Union.

Pre-SLU: Christian Horn played 50 games between the Tri-City Storm and Sioux Falls Stampede in the USHL last season and scored 23 goals with 24 assists for 47 points. He was a member of the Minnesota state champion high school team at Benilde St. Margarets and is that school's second leading scorer and first all time in assists. He attended three national development camps in hockey. Also a standout in lacrosse, he led the team in scoring in three of his four seasons on the team and was first team All State, helping the team to two state titles. He received the Athletic Director's Award as the best male athlete. He is the son of Janice Steinhauser and Ron Horn.
