Former Saint player Kate Higgins joins the Saint staff after serving as an assistant field hockey coach at Middlebury College for the 2014 season. She also coached the Middlebury Union High School junior varsity lacrosse team in 2013 and was a Lacrosse the Nations volunteer program in Nicaragua in 2009.

A honorable mention All Liberty League selection as a senior Higgins started all but one game in her SLU career, appearing in 65 consecutive games. She scored three goals and had nine assists in her four seasons of varsity competition.
