Biography
2015-16: Amr was the 2016 winner of the Skillman Award, presented to the top senior in collegiate squash and became the first player in Liberty League history to earn Player of the Year in four consecutive seasons. He was the second seed in CSA Individual nationals and earned All America honors for the third time in his career. He went 14-1 for the season, finishing his career with a 46-5 record.
2014-15: Limited by injury in his junior season, Amr was still Liberty League Player of the Year for the third straight season after a 7-2 season in which both of his losses were by injury default. He was unable to play in the CSA Individual nationals which precluded a third straight All America honor.
2013-14: Liberty League Player of the Year for the second straight season, Amr battled some injury problems as a sophomore, but went 10-2 and finished as runner-up at CSA Nationals. Both of his losses were to Ali Faraq of Harvard, one in a dual at Harvard and the other in the CSA Individual championlship match. He was 6-1 at one and went 4-1 in the tournament. He earned All America honors for the second straight year.
2012-13: Khalifa went 15-0 in his first collegiate season and became the Saints' squash program's first CSA individual national champion in March. En route to the men's title, Khalifa came back from a two-game deficit in the semifinals to upset the defending champion Ali Farag of Harvard, and then swept top-seeded Todd Harrity of Princeton in the final to win the crown. He was named the Liberty League Player and Rookie of the Year.Â
At Asseddiq: Khalifa was a two-sport athlete in high school, participating in squash and swimming. The Cairo, Egypt native comes to St. Lawrence with an impressive record, as he was crowned the World Junior Squash Individual Champion in 2010, along with helping Egypt win the team title in that year. He also won the prestigious British Junior Open Under-15 category in 2007, and then the Under-17 category in 2009.  Academically, he was an honor roll student.Â
