Doocy won the individual novice equitation over fences class at the IHSA National Championship to become the 26th national champion in the St. Lawrence program history. She qualified for the national championship with a win in novice fences at the Zone 2 championships and had a five-point lead over the rest of the field and the show judges did not require any additional testing to determine that she was the winner.
