Biography
2013-14: Scott was second in the 3000 at the Liberty League and NYSCTC Championships indoors and second in the 5000 outdoors at the Liberty League meet. He was mile champion in the NYSCTC indoor meet. He was third in the 5000 at the NYSCTC outdoors.
2012-13: Scott competed at a variety of distances during his sophomore season and was the NYSCTC outdoor champion in the 5000 and fourth indoors in the 3000. He also won the 1000 at the Springfield Invitational Indoors and the mile at the SLU Holiday Relays.
2011-12 Indoor: Scott finished seventh in both the Liberty League and the NYSCTC in the 5000 and was xith in the mile at the Liberty League Championship. He was 7th in the 3000 at tne NYSCTC and ran on a Distance Medley Relay team.
At Brighton
Smolensky was a stand-out runner, as he earned First Team All-State honors while captaining both the cross country and track and field teams. The Rochester, NY native was also the recipient of the New York State Sportsmanship Award.
