Five players scored in double figures to lead the St. Lawrence University men's basketball team to an 88-67 win over Bard, giving Saints head coach

Willie Zachery led the Saints with 22 points on 9-for-13 shooting.
Riley Naclerio added 16 points, while
Ben Crawford (12),
Kyle Edwards (10) and
Dom DeRegis (10) also scored in double figures for the Saints (11-2 overall, 4-0 Liberty League).

The Saints jumped out to a 14-2 lead in the first five minutes, but the Raptors closed the lead to six points halfway through the first half. St. Lawrence closed the half with a 10-5 run to rebuild the double-digit margin, and after allowing Bard the first basket of the second half, the Saints never allowed the Raptors to cut the lead to single digits again.

St. Lawrence hit 55.7 percent of their shots and held Bard to 45.8 percent shooting. The Saints also had a 39-27 advantage on the boards.

Joel Wincowski led Bard (2-11, 0-4) with 14 points.

The Saints will wrap up the weekend road trip at Vassar on Saturday at 4 p.m.
