Saints Compete in Utica, Hit Regional Qualifying Standards

The St. Lawrence University women's track and field team had a strong showing at the Utica Winter Opener, led by Avery Blanchard, who captured first place in the 5000-meter run with a time of 18:15.18, surpassing the AARTFC qualifying standard.

Adriana Cecchetelli joined her on the podium with a second-place finish in the same event, clocking in at 18:56.62.

Blanchard also took part in the 1000-meter run, hitting her second personal best of the day with a fifth-place finish in 3:17.58. Cecchetelli was sixth in that event, registering a time of 3:18.03 – also a personal best.

In the 3000-meter run, Quinn Sirgany added a top-six finish for the Saints, crossing the line in a personal-best 10:47.84 for sixth place.
