Hayley Castagnier ran a career best and won the 100-meter dash to lead the St. Lawrence University women's track and field team on Sunday afternoon in Utica, N.Y.

Castagnier had the third fastest time in the prelims of the 100, and ran a lifetime best of 12.85 seconds in finals. She also finished the 200 meters in 27.31 seconds for 14^th-place.

Alexa Smith and Kaylee Bertini were the other two Saints to compete in the meet. Smith finished ninth in the 400 meters in 1:03.46, and Bertini was 12^th in the 400 hurdles in 1:12.88.

A select group of Saints will compete in the Widener Final Qualifier on Monday, and the Regional Championships are May 17^th and 18^th.
