A standout end in football and center in basketball, Tony Ross captained the basketball team as a senior and helped the Saints to three-year records of 17-8 in football and 52-22 in basketball.
He was an outstanding receiver and blocker as a tight end in football and a dominating center both offensively and defensively in basketball. He led the basketball team to three league titles and two NCAA appearances as well as to its first 20-win season when the Saints went 20-6 in his senior yar.
Following graduation, Tony served as the director of the University's first program for minority students as well as being an assistant basketball coach. He went on to administrative positions at Northern Arizona, Wichita State and is currently at Cal State LA as Vice President of Student Affairs and a professor in the college of education.
