Terry Slater

The premier center in college hockey during his era, Terry Slater was a two-time All America who led his team to three NCAA tournament appearances.

Currently the head hockey coach at Colgate University where he has built the Red Raiders into a perennial ECAC Tournament team, he had an outstanding career as a professional player and coach following his graduation from St. Lawrence.

He still holds St. Lawrence records for points in a three year career, points in a season, goals in a season and goals and assists in a three year career. During his tenure the Saints went 44-20-3 and posted their best ever finish in NCAA play when they finished second to the University of Denver in 1960-61.
