A strongman for the Saints in both football and wrestling, Stan Koloski helped St. Lawrence to three of its finest wrestling seasons and was a team co-captain as a senior.
A wrestler who lost only one match during his collegiate career, he and fellow 1988 inductee Hayward Plumadore helped the Saints to a three year 20-3-1 dual meet record including an undefeated 7-0 record in his sophomore season and a 6-1-1 mark in his senior year.
He compiled a 21-1 record in wrestling and was a three year starter in football. He and Plumadore accounted for 193 match points in their career. He was also active in fraternity lift and campus politics as an undergraduate.
He served in the Pacific Theater in World War II as a lieutenant in the Navy and worked as both an automobile dealer and a teacher following his service commitment.
