Sarah Kreiner Godshaw ’03 was one of the first — and one of the best — players in St. Lawrence women’s squash history. Her first year on campus was also the first year of the Saints’ squash program, and her status as one of the top junior players in the nation gave the program instant credibility.

Sarah was immediately placed at the top of the Saints’ lineup and played her entire career as one of the of Saints’ top three players. She ranks third on the program’s all-time wins list with 43 victories and is second in winning percentage (.826), despite facing the opponent’s best player for most of her career.

Sarah helped lead St. Lawrence to a 12-6 record in the program’s first season in 1999-00, and the team’s 18-5 record and 12th-place national ranking in 2001-02 remain program bests.

After graduation, Sarah started a career in marketing and advertising. She married Gary Godshaw ’02 in 2010 and is raising two boys,
Teddy and Tucker, in New York City.
