The first major scoring star for St. Lawrence women's lacrosse teams, Andrews established season, game and career scoring records while leading what was then St. Lawrence's newest team to back-to-back undefeated seasons and its first post-season appearance.

She scored 120 career goals and had 27 assists for 147 points as the teams she played on went 31-5 during her four years, including consecutive 7-0 seasons in her freshman and sophomore years. She set the record for goals in a game with eight against Hartwick and was captain of the 1979 tam which earned a spot in the AIAW National College Division semifinals.

She set the single season record for goals as a senior with 37 and the record for points with 46. During her first three years the lacrosse team won 17 straight games before sustaining its first loss.
