While athletic offerings for women during Peg Sherlock's
undergraduate career were not as they are today, she was an active participant
in all of the athletics available and continued her participation in tennis
well into her adult life.
She participated in volleyball, basketball, field hockey,
badminton and tennis as an undergraduate. She was president of the Women's
Athletic Association as a senior and a member of the Board of Athletic Control
as both a junior and a senior. Listed in
Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, she was also a member of the
campus council.
A research chemist for over 40 years, she holds patents for
more than 35 discoveries.
