Libby Bolster was a four-year standout in both swimming and lacrosse and played three years of varsity soccer, helping the soccer and lacrosse teams to NCAA tournament appearances and swimming in four NCAA championship meets during her career.


Libby was an All America in swimming in each of her four years and swam on four relay teams which set St. Lawrence records, two of which still stand at the time of her induction. She was a two-time conference championĀ and swam on four state champion relay teams including a record-setting 400 medley relay team. Captain of the swim team as a senior, she was also the Most Valuable Swimmer as a senior and was presented the John Calloway Award for her contributions to the swim program. She was named the Outstanding Female Athlete in the class of 1987.


She participated in three NCAA events as a senior, playing in the soccer tournament in the fall, earning All America on four relay teams, all of which set SLU records in March and then playing on the lacrosse team in the spring which also played in the NCAA tournament.


Libby is now a teacher and coach and has received alumni recognition from the Chapin School in Princeton, NJ and an honorary commission from the National Youth Leadership Forum for her achievements in teaching and mentoring.
