  • Class
    1978
  • Induction
    1988
  • Sport(s)
    Basketball, Field Hockey

The only woman athlete ever to be named Most Valuable Player in a sport in each of her varsity seasons at the time of her induction, Kris Krablin was the Saints first female basketball superstar in addition to being an outstanding goalie in field hockey.

She set records for points and rebounds in both a season and a career and was the leading scorer and rebounder in each of her four years as a basketball player. In field hockey, Kris helped the Saints to one of the finest post-season showings to that point in SLU history as he backstopped the team to a fourth place finish in the state tournament and a sixth place finish in the AIAW Eastern championships. She began her field hockey career as a field player and switched to goal as a junior, turning in two outstanding seasons.
